Do I need to mix water with the composting mix?

You only need to mix appoximately 3 quarts of water with your composting mix only when starting the toilet in order to keep the dust down.

The composting mix you add to the toilet after each fecal use does not have to have water added to it. You can add water if you want to keep the dust down, but its not necessary.
