Replacing the Shear Pin - BioLet Standard

  1. Unplug the electricity.
  2. With a small punch or nail, tap out the broken shear pin.

  3. Ensuring that the hole on the T-handle lines up with the hole on the mixing shaft (a slight downward pressure may need to be apply on the T-handle), insert the new shearpin by tapping it into place, taking caution so the new shear pin does not get broken or the end on which you are tapping does not mushroom.
  4. Plug the unit back into the 120V AC outlet and test its operation.
