"As you have learned from Dr. Murphy, we are dedicated to helping the next generation become more aware of their connections to nature and live more responsibly. Our Ambassadors of the Environment program is our main outreach to young people and this program is presently being implemented on Catalina Island in California and in Kona, Hawaii. Additional programs are being designed for other sites in California, Florida and the Caribbean."
"Our focus is to show young people how nature works, focus on the sustainable strategies of natural ecosystems and then explore how these principles could apply to human communities. It is very important to demonstrate examples of sustainable living and the BioLet composting toilet was an important component of our program. I have heard only good things about it and want to express my appreciation for your helping us acquire one. I look forward to the day when all our programs use such appropriate technology so you can expect to hear from us as we expand our program in the future."

"First I would like to thank you and your fine organization for your quick response and excellent service, when, after seven years of dependable and frequent use, our BioLet toilet needed repair. We just returned home after spending several wonderful days at our cabin, and believe me, it was so great to have that BioLet back and functioning so well. We can now thoroughly enjoy our stays up there, as the BioLet takes care of our needs perfectly, in an area that we can not get a septic permit, because of the location of our well and our neighbors wells."
"Thank You for the BioLet line of products, and thanks for being there when needed."

"I recently purchased a BioLet XL for a seasonal cottage which I own on Tyler Lake in Goshen, CT. I found your dealership BioLet CT to be very knowledgeable and helpful. The unit arrived earlier than promised and the video and booklet made installation easy. The most time consuming part of the job was adding another outlet to the bathroom as the XL is an electrical model. You can see the outlet in the picture I have sent you.
"Although only in for a few days now, the unit is working as advertised and we look forward to many years of good service."

I found this intriguing and thought you may want to see how little room it actually takes to install a BioLet XL (our largest model).

"Enclosed are the pictures you asked for, for your web site. Unfortunately I didn't ask him to take a full length picture of the room. The room measures 6' long X 37" wide. He did make sure you could see the width." On the left side is the toilet paper holder, two shelves & a mirror. The room is more than large enough for a 250# person to turn and have plenty of room."
"Thank you for being so friendly & helpful when I called for service. It's nice to have good service and friendly help."

"Enclosed is a photograph of my recently installed BioLet Composting Toilet. Recently, I purchased a mobile home and was not told that the septic tank was home made and not working properly. I made several inquiries as to the cost of having a legal septic system installed on my property. The contractors would install the system, however, they would not get involved with the Health Department, permitting agencies and having perk tests run. Also, the cost was in the area of $3000."
"I had seen your advertisements for many years in the SUNSET MAGAZINE and MOTHER EARTH, so I purchased the magazines and phoned for brochures and prices on several different systems. After reading the information, I decided to purchase the BioLet Standard model through an agent, that had a Valentine's Day special."
'It arrived promptly and I had it installed in about an hour and a half. It works just as your brochures said it would and I am very pleased. I have given copies of your brochure to friends of mine, who are also interested in this system for new construction that they have planned in this rural area. There is no odor what so ever, but I had to get used to no water and no flushing. I also reduced my water consumption by about 200 gallons per month. I am very glad that I decided to purchase the BioLet and would highly recommend it to anyone."

"We own a small cottage in northern Wisconsin. We only have a generator and no running water. So we have had to use the old fashioned "Out house" for many years."
"I first heard about BioLet online when I was searching for a portable toilet. The thought of possibly having an indoor toilet was unreal. We bought one (the BioLet NE) from a dealer in Eagle River, Wisconsin. We put it in last summer (directions quite easy) only was not sure about drainage pipe so called company and asked a few questions. They were very helpful and friendly. Every company should have people so willing to help. Emailed me the new instruction book for the NE. So far are very happy with our "indoor toilet". Fantastic."

"It was great to purchase our first composting toilet from you! The service was excellent and we appreciated the tips you gave us for our unique installation."
"We live in a yurt (see pictures) in Flagstaff, Arizona and managed to install our BioLet NE with just a few extra parts from the hardware store. We angled the vent through the wall and supported the external pipe with a metal pole sunk in concrete and guy-lined to the door frame and top cover fabric grommets. We've had 40MPH winds and everything is fine. We are really glad we got the vent fan too - as it keeps the air moving quite well in there."
"Thanks for helping us get started in our septic/sewer-free home!"

I am sending you my experience because it was a good one. I hired a carpenter to install the BioLet in my small 7 x 9 bathroom and showed him your booklet instructions. I told him about the video, but he felt your written instructions were clear. Installation hardly took any time at all and presented no problems with the straight through roof installation! When the carpenter left I followed your instructions to start up the BioLet and have gone forward from there without any problems.
Sincerely,
E. Beck

"I want to thank you for helping us acquire a BioLet composting toilet for our Hawaii Ambassadors of the Environment Program. The program was a huge success with local educators and folks from the native Hawaiian community being particularly impressed with how we extended nature study into the human domain. We had a modular solar hot water heater, PVC system, solar oven, composting bins for garbage, the beginnings of an organic garden and, of great interest to all the students and visitors alike, a composting toilet. We placed it between our two traditional outhouses and the contrast was profound. Predictably no one wanted to use the outhouses, as the BioLet toilet was totally odorless, and we had to rotate its use."
"So, I do appreciate your giving us a price break and I'm hoping as we expand the program we can afford additional units. I'm enclosing some photos of the toilet and our camp setting at the edge of the sea in Kona."

Dear Biolet,
My husband and I own a small cabin. We have been using an outhouse for years. We would use a portapot at night and transfer to the outhouse from there. We have been thinking about upgrading to a composting toilet for about a year now. I was apprehensive about this because I was concerned about the cost and function of a composter. How would it work? Would it stink? How hard would it be for us to install? Finally after researching via the internet on different brands and models we decided on a Biolet 60XL. We liked the way the Biolet looked compared to some other brands and the installation video was helpful too. So we did it! We purchased a Biolet 60XL from the Home Depot website. So when the delivery truck arrived you can imagine how excited we were! The thoughts of no more outhouse were wonderful!
Still a bit apprehensive about the install, we headed out to the cabin. There aren’t too many projects that we won\'t attempt ourselves. Well it was a beautiful fit. There wasn\'t much to the installation process. After it was complete we were very pleased. We\'ve had the opportunity to use the Biolet and all of our fears have gone away! It works great, it doesn\'t stink, it\'s worth every dime, and it wasn\'t hard to install. We have added a few personal touches to the toilet. Check out our pictures and see for yourself!
Sincerely,
